Dear Jelena,

Thank you very much for your comment!!. Let me try to explain it deeply.

We want to migrate from SAPScript Forms ( such like Deliv. Notes, Invoices, etc ) to Adobe Forms. The idea is to get all the standard text contained and print them on the layout accordingly. In some cases, these texts holds conditions inside - as seen on the coding above.

My idea was to either

1 - Split the conditions from the text ( adding some coding on the interface ), create some "splitted" standard texts and bind them in the Layout

Or - and probably the safer way ( and the approach I am attempting to do )

2.- Add some Java coding in the initialization event and manage the condition.

If you could give me some additional hint, would be just amazing!. 🙂

Kind Regards.

Raúl

SO10 - Extracting code in conditions

Dear gurus,

I'm processing some SO10 texts and I would need to validate the content of it, so it might be migrated to ADOBE.

Is there any feasible way to evaluate the conditions occurring in a SO10 text, see example below:

/: IF &IT_TAB-FIELD1& = 'X' OR &IT_TAB-FIELD1& = 'VALUE 1'
/: PERFORM TASK_ONE IN PROGRAM &IT_TAB-PROGRAM&
/: ENDPERFORM.

Has anybody faced something similar?.

It'd be really appreaciated if you could give me a hint!.

Kind Regards.

Raúl

This code is from SAPScript. Sorry, I don't understand what is the question... What are we evaluating, exactly? Why would you need this code in SO10 text instead of the form or some other place?
