BAPI_PRICES_CONDITIONS Issue

I'm using this bapi to create a pricing condition(Custom). Most of the details are working fine but in the table 'A005' the old record is getting deleted instead of delimiting the end date and creating a new record. I tried passing operation 009 and 004.

Could anyone help.

The function BAPI_PRICES_CONDITIONS has status "Not released". As such it should not be used in custom developments due to adverse effects similar to the ones you experience. See the note 1135984 - Conditions cannot be created with BAPI_PRICES_CONDITIONS

Unfortunately none that are released for customer usage. You may try using SAP standard functions to maintain conditions but be aware of possible adverse side effects or you can still try to figure it out how to use BAPI_PRICES_CONDITIONS - see the following blogs:

Be warned that you'll be using functions that are not supposed to be used. If anything goes wrong, you'll be on your own without SAP standard support.

SAP is well aware of the situation as it's been brought to their attention through SAP Influence program:

Regretfully they have chosen not to do anything about it.
