Hi all,

I modified one of our analytical queries (Material Inventory Values) by adding a field from nsdm_e_mard. Now when I invoke the app in Fiori, I get an error message saying "Initialization of query 2CCMLBALSUM failed".

I found a couple of potential fixes, but none have panned out. I don't know if it's related to the field (LABST) in the table (nsdm_e_mard) I'm using or if it's something entirely unrelated.

I'd appreciate any help on this issue.

Thank you in advance.

It seems you have analyzed the problem, could you tell us what you have tried, so that we don't ask you the questions you have already investigated? (also SAP notes checked)

Blind guess: the query has (mandatory) variables and they have no default values?

Hi,

I apologize for the delay.

I'm a bit embarrassed to say, but it was one of the annotations.

Offending one:

@AnalyticsDetails.query.axis: #ROWS
@EndUserText.label: 'ValueUnrstdStock'
ValUnrestUseStock

Good one:

@AnalyticsDetails.query.axis: #COLUMNS
@UI.lineItem: { label: 'Val.Unrest.Stock', position: 50 }

This took care of the error that spurred the initial plea for help, but I am still just getting 0.00 (redundant) in each SLOC. I read something about redundancies occurring in MARD (specifically the field LABST), so I used nsdm_e_mard and am still getting the 0.00

I'm a little stumped at this point.

Thank you both for your responses. Much appreciated.

Quick update:

I think I was getting redundant data returned because of the implementation of the StorageLocation field in the extension. Once I removed it, everything returned to normal. I'm going to figure out another way to get the requirement met.

Thanks all for your responses.

Closing this thread.
