What's the difference between a search help assigned at data element level and at table field level?

suganya.rangarajan,

When a Search Help is assigned to a Data element all the fields that make use of that Data element will be assisted with that Search help.

When a search help is assigned to a Table field all the screen fields that make use of this table field or Structure field can make use of the Search help.
