STXH_Table?

How do we maintain texts in the table STXH (STXD SAPscript text file header)?

1) Through s010 transaction.

2) When we save texts in standards transactions.

3) Whenever we create text elemenst for programs, sap scripts and smartforms.

4) Using the Function MOdules CREATE_TEXT.

EDIT_TEXT, and SAVE_TEXT.

When you will create the text in SO10 all the fields will be updated in the table STXH for the particular form we do not have to maintain all these things SAP takes care of that.

The data in this is the long texts data and is stored in RAW format, you can store pages and pages of data.

To save text use

CREATE_TEXT / SAVE_TEXT followed by COMMIT_TEXT

To read

READ_TEXT

To Delete

DELETE_TEXT

If you are dealing with long texts of the documents, when you open the text in the editor, in the menu Go To-->Header you can see the parameter values that need to be passed - TDOBJECT / TDID. TDNAME will usually be the doucment number.

FM 'READ_TEXT'

can be used to read texts from the stxh.

Hi,

While creating sales order va01-header-text

entry is created in stxh,stxl table.

You can read the text using read_text FM.

Hi,

using the FM CREATE_TEXT or SAVE_TEXT you can create the text.

using the SAVE_TEXT you can modify the text also.

this way you can create entries in STXH table.

you need to pass the Proper prameters.,..

This can be done by using s010 transaction.

This can be done while saving texts in standards transactions or while createing text elemenst for programs, sap scripts and smartforms.

The Function Modules:

CREATE_TEXT,

EDIT_TEXT,

READ_TEXT,

DELETE_TEXT and

SAVE_TEXT

can use be used.
