SLICENSE in docker instance

Hello SAP Support,

just checked my docker image with 1909 running in it and the license expiration date is April 18, 2021. the url (http://support.sap.com/licensekey) takes me to a page where i cannot renew it.

my question: is there a point in keeping the docker image beyond April 18?

I am not a SAP support 🙂 but I think I can help. For developer editions, you can easily get a new license at this link: https://go.support.sap.com/minisap/#/minisap.

Start transaction SLICENSE to view the hardware key or alternatively, open your docker dashboard and go to Container/Apps and open logs. You will find the hardware keys for HDB and A4H systems.

For the 1909 platform(A4H system), the license to be used is the first one on the list. For HDB, am not sure which one to use as there several.

good tip and i haven't been on that site for years now. it looks like i got myself an extra month for A4H and my M_LICENSE query for HDB is showing EXPIRATION_DATE 20220809235959999999000, so maybe i'm good there, too.
