HELP required in AES256/ECB/PKCS5Padding encryption

We have a requirement in SAP ABAP to call a web service from a webportal. From the webportal side ,they are using AES256/ECB/PKCS5Padding for encryption.But,we didn't get any thread or blog to encrypt and decrypt using AES256/ECB/PKCS5Padding in Sap Abap (we found that SAP is supporting CBC encryption and decryption using the class CL_SEC_SXML_WRITER but not ECB).

Could you please help us to find out how to implement AES256/ECB/PKCS5Padding in SAP ABAP.

Indeed cl_sec_sxml_writer doesn't seem to support ECB mode.

I've found the following:

AES algorithm implementation by ABAP

Encoding / Decoding base64Binary with AES-128ECB

Hope that helps. You might try to contact simone.milesi directly as it looks like he has cracked that.

Yes, I managed to do it as i explained in the thread and, for what I know, it's still working 🙂
Sadly I've no more access to the system and forgot to save it, but it's all in the thread 🙂
