To update customer Master data standard communication method via BAPI(BAPI_ADDRESSORG_CHANGE)

Hi seniors.

My requirement is to update / set to the standard commn.method in XD02 as Email in the drop down.I tried using BAPI_ADDRESSORG_CHANGE, the email id is getting updated but communication method is not getting updated or set in that drop down.

I am trying to pass commn method via tables BAPICOMREM & BAPICOMREX.

Can you plese help to understand and achieve this fucntioanlity.
