transporting standard text

hi every body,

i am trying to transfer the standard text , for that first i am trying to create a transport request using se10 , so while assigning the object details like

Program ID , Object Type , Object Name

i am facing formatting problems.

my standard text name is "logotxt" and ID is "lt"

so any body please help how to give these values in creating a request. so that i can use that request in "RSTXTRAN" program for transferring.

Use the program <b>RSTXTRAN</b> for attaching a standard text to any request number to transport.

You need to first create tr. request.

Then use the program and specify the Object, ID and the name of the text.

What is the issue you are facing?

Hi ,

create Text using Tcode SO10 , and Crete TP in Se10 , finally run the report RSTXTRAN and pass the TEXT IDs and in the NAME OF CORRECTIONS enter Ur TP Nunber

Text key - object                 TEXT                                            
Text key - name                                                                   
Text key - ID                     ST                                              
Text key - language               EN

Hi,

just create a blank trasnport request, then use program RSTXTRAN and assign the transport request name in field 'Name of Correction'. You dont have to manually enter the text in the transport request, it will be done by the program, all you need to do is create a blank TR and assign it in the program.

Hi,

1. Go to SE78 transaction

2. Go to folder "Stored as Text (obsolte )"-->"Standard

text" folder~~>Expand it~~->Again go to folder "ST

Standard Text"-->Double Click

3. Specify the standard text name you have created in the

field displayed and also the language.

4. Press enter

5. It will ask for transport request

Hi mounika,

1. a little tricky

2. goto se09 and create a new

customizing rqeuest.

3. after that

in the object list,

go in edit mode

and a new window will come

where u can add the objects(in table control)

4. there u put

program id = R3TR

object type = TEXT

object name = TEXT,YHRS_FNF_LTR,YHR1,E

where

TEXT = TEXT

YHRS_FNF_LTR = name of standard text

YHR1 = TEXT ID

E = english language
