Material Master (Classification View) - LSMW

I am using direct input program RMDATIND for creation of material using LSMW and which structure i have to relate and map in structure relation for filling Classification view.

RMDATIND will not load the classification view. As a matter of fact there are no standard ones that does both. You have to make a second pass to load the classification data using object 0130 and method 0000 or 0001 or 0002.

you mean second pass by lsmw ? i dont find object 0130 in swo1.

I have created LSMW for second pass to load classification view using 0130 object as you said but i dont find material number field in maintain structure relation there to extend existing materials.How can extend existing materials ?

You will not find a field for the material number there. You will have to prepare the object number by moving the material number in its internal format. So you have to know your material number to do this.

Basically you have to map your material number to 'bikssk-objek' field.

Hi,

Can you explain me which field to map for charecterstic description and values for class XXXX-Object XXXX of classification view and where to find these charecteristic values.

You will have to pass the characteristic name to BIAUSP-ATNAM and its value to BIAUSP-ATWRT. If you go to classification view and press F1 on individual characteristic, you will get the characteristic name and F4 will give you the possible values for it.

Can I just write BDC to fill in the Classification information? Do I have to use LSMW?
