Extend a transparent table

I would like to extend a database table by adding a Z field.

Which options do I have? and Which one is recommandable?

There are two ways of extending a standard table as stated below:

1) APPEND STRUCTURE

2) INCLUDE STRUCTURE

Hi,

Goto maintenance screen of required table --> Append Structure --> Create Append structure --> define fields to append structure --> activate the same..

Dear houssemkh0105,

If you want to extend custom 'Z' or 'Y' table then there is only the simple that is using

TCODE SE11

select Database Table option and give Table name

Click on Change button

Click "Insert Row" in the "Fields" tab.

You mean, a "standard SAP database table by adding a ZZ field" (or YY or /yournamespace/anyname).
