Search Help Parameters

Hi,

I require is to show search help parameters before the search result.

( Either using function module F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST or custom search help using SE11)

Ex: When I press F4 on the field, it shows the search result

But instead of the search result, I want to show parameters of the search help first.

You can achieve this Via custom search help. In your Custom Search help there is a property that deals with dialog behavior of the search help. Below Screen shot for reference.

You need to create your SEARCH-HELP in SE11 TCODE.

In the next example, I used the KNA1 table as selection method, after that, I selected 3 fields like input parameters (KUNNR, NAME1 and NAME2).

In the fourth column (List Position) you specify the column order at the output of results. For example:

And in the fifth column you specify the parameters fields, for example, if I select only the NAME1 field as parameter, the output list is like below.

And if I select only the NAME1 and NAME2 fields as parameter, the new output list is like below.

You could call FM F4IF_GET_SHLP_DESCR and then F4IF_START_VALUE_REQUEST forcing INTDESCR-DIALOGTYPE to 'C'
