Availability of ABAP Open SQL Test Double Framework

Hi community,

during creation of an ABAP unit test I realized that the ABAP Open SQL Test Double Framework is not available in the systems I am currently working with (e.g. class CL_OSQL_TEST_ENVIRONMENT is not available).

Can someone point me to some documentation about the required release to get the framework?

I read somewhere that the Test Double Framework is available since 7.40 SP09 but it seem that this does not apply for the Open SQL part.

This help page states that "ABAP CDS Test Double Framework has been available since back-end version SAP NetWeaver AS for ABAP 7.52". However, I am not interested in the CDS part.

I think Sandra is right, I was working in 7.51 and I remember we were not able to mock even transparent tables. I was not aware of an exclusive CDS test double framework, we are using the OpenSQL (cl_osql_test_environment) which works for pretty much everything.
