Hi Guys,

Can somone pleas help, "when i try to upload the XD01 using BDC gets an error as

" Acct group Customers uses ext. no. assignment , Specify an account number " I have checked the File in ITAB its retrive the record " .. Can someone help me on this issue...

Why are you using a BDC to create customers in the first place?

There are far better alternatives like the upload options in LSMW.

Based on the information provided so far it is impossible to help you, I am afraid.

Why don't you simply debug the program and see how the values are actually populated?

If you do not feel comfortable with debugging - ask a colleague from your development department for assistance.

By the way, guys is a bit presumptuous, there are qualified consultants and developers who are not male.

Hi,

It just means that you have to specify the customer number to be created since the customizing is using an external number assignment for this specific customer account type / group. SAP will not automatically generate a customer number for your scenario.

"Guys" can also be used in English as gender neutral to refer to a group of mixed gender.
