Odata FAC_GL_DOCUMENT_POST_SRV

Hi Experts,

I need to call Odata - FAC_GL_DOCUMENT_POST_SRV for Journal Entry posting.

Can anyone here advise if there is any standard guide or documentation available from SAP ?

I am calling it from Postman but need to consume from .net.

The postman call gets failed.

Following is the error I get

Hi Nilesh,

Yes, there are two fields in this Odata - 'TmpId' and 'TmpIdType'.

You need to make calls to the server to get values of these and then in subsequent calls, you need to pass these same values there.

Just keep debugging network calls of its actual FIORI app and you will find the answer in more clarity.

Thanks Rahul for your reply. I will try it once I have access to Fiori apps, currently I have only backend access. By chance do you have sample payload that you tried from postman or any other http client, please share if you have one.

Also if you have some time to discuss that would help.

It was long back but I will check if I still have the payload.

You can share your actual requirement as this is SAP's internal Odata that has no documentation or support if you may need in future.

My actual requirement is to post journal entries (GL to GL) and also create attachment while creating journal entries
