  &lt;PRE&gt;&lt;CODE&gt;According to the note &lt;A href="https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/" target="test_blank"&gt;https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/&lt;/A&gt; 2700275, SAP will provide JDK for the server. Can we use this JDK for local IDE to compile the code ?

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Leonid,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yes you can use that jdk, but when you can use open source jdk then why you want to go with that jdk and all jdk are same so if that jdk is working on sap that will work for your local machine also.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Swapnil&lt;/P&gt;</description>
