Hello Guys hope you are having a good day i am new to abap and i want to create a rest json web service which is called externally by parameter: PR number and returns PR status.

I mean a parameter is passed in the url coming to sap then return a json format

So the ABAP system will be the server. Simply said, you have to create a global class which implements the class CL_REST_HTTP_HANDLER, and create an ICF service in transaction SICF, for which you add your class in the list of handlers. There are some blog posts and information in SCN.

Hi,

if your system is ready for CDS view - i would go for this.

Is most easy one. Only create a view and service can be auto genereated
