interview question

hai iam a fresher in sapabap ,i am attending the interview,he ask one question,

i.e there are two companies one is present in hyderabad and the other one is bangalore , I want all material details of hyderabad company how can we get .Please suggest answer.

Hi,

All the material details will be stored in MARA table.

By using the MARA table you can get the details, You can input the company codes as per your requirement.

Hi,

If you need to get material information for the any company code, there is no direct table. you have use bellow table.

T00K - Valuation area ( Company code and plant information ) T001K- BWKEY = MARC-WERKS

MARC-Plant Data for Material (Plant and Material information) MARC-MATNR = MARA-MATNR

MARA - General Material Data

MAKT- Material Description MARA-MATNR = MAKT-MATNR.

you have to join above table and can get material information

Call the Hyderabad company on the phone and ask them for material details.

Chris is a More Senior in this field of SAP , so he is just kidding , do not be serious. being working consultant I treat him as 'GURU', its not supposed to ask such Initial stage questions here .

See first FI Consultant will create Company code for main Orgnization , later on he creates Company codes for its Sub Orgs which are located in different cities.

Ex. Main Org located in Delhi then Comp Code say 1100

its sub Org located in Hyderabad then Comp Code say 1200

another sub Org Delhi is located in Banglore then Comp Code say 1300

This will reflect in all other functional Modules of SAP like MM,SD,HCM,PP,PS,PM .

so you need to query on the company code what the Other people has answered.
