Getting junk character in structure

Hello all,

I am using the mentioned class and method : cl_abap_container_utilities=>read_container_c , it contain exporting parameter i,e. ld_container it contain value i.e 7.

once this method will get execute the structure gs_z2krebate_report it contains junk characters ,please help me in that why this happening.

The junk characters are merely x00.

Beyond that there's not much to say, as you have not given much in the way of relevant information. You've not explain what you are trying to achieve, nor what result you expect.

You give the container 7. You get in gs_z2krebate_report the number 7. It's working exactly as you've programmed it.
