ABSO bapi s error

Daer Experts

We are trying to post the Bapi for ABSO ( Assets write up) but we are unable to post the successfully even after entering the correct details r

we tried in both Transaction code BAPI_ASSET_WRITEUP_post & Thransaction code BAPI_ASSET_WRITEUP_CHECK in both we

are getting error

the error as below & please refer the attachment

Transaction code BAPI_ASSET_WRITEUP_CHECK not possible; see long text

we already searched in Google before posting to the Forum

Very strange! Try doing a where-used on that error message (EAC 806) in SE91, to see where/why the ABAP code is raising that error message.

Hi Sathvik ,

Try to create Assets using T-code first ,once you create by T-code create using bapi and that time use the same data .

This is the good approach to use bapi.

If still you are facing error ,Please let me know .

Hi Rasika,

I'm not facing any problem for Asset Creation. i.e AS01.

Asset Creation is working fine.

I'm facing problem in Asset Writeup i.e for ABSO T.code

and

Asset Transfer i.e for ABUMN T.code.

Can u please test these BAPI's?? Once??? or else suggest me if you have any BAPI's....

Are you able to do asset transfer by T-code ?

If yes ,set the debugger on Bapi and excute T-code .

Then as you already had set the debugger the bapi will get hit then check the values in exporting parameters .

Hi Rasik,

I kept Break point for all BAPI's but its not stopping,

Ex: For Write up

BAPI_ASSET_WRITEUP_POST

BAPI_ASSET_WRITEUP_CHECK

BAPI_ASSET_POSTCAP_CHECK

BAPI_ASSET_POSTCAP_POST.

Any other solutions ???? Please ???

May be the bapi You are using is not correct ,because bapi gets hit when you execute T-code .

This is the https://scn.sap.com/thread/911131 to find bapi of particular T-code .
