Reading from the Payload

Hello,

I am trying to read data from the payload and update the pnnn primary table..would something like this work:

read table lt_payload_data assigning <fs_payload> with key begda = <fs_pnnn>-begda

Sorry but this question is impossible to answer intelligently. You're giving us one line of code without any context or definitions and asking if it would work. How could anyone possibly know?

Also - is there any problem with just trying instead of asking? Seems easier and more efficient...
