I want to be sure there are no such settings to control the playback speed of scripts before raising this to SAP support. I will raise this ticket to them as I could not find any solution.

Hello all,

I am trying to automate testing using eCATT scripts. Initially, it was working fine.

But suddenly, the playback speed of automated scripts have increased. e.g. Initially when I used to execute script for PO creation takes around 40 seconds but now the script is executing same scenario in 6 seconds.

Due to this increase in speed, multiple clicks recorded before are now converted into double click and scripts are failing. Can anyone please suggest what setting I need to update to decrease the playback speed or anything else can be done to solve this issue?

I have tried to record again same scripts but still the playback speed is fast.

I don't understand how two consecutive single clicks are considered as one double click, whatever the speed is !!!???

For example- in my case, while creating PO, during the item data input, it is going to MM03 screen. I am sure, it is because of some double click event only.

Then I would consider it a bug. Did you contact the SAP support or did you check SAP notes or patches?

In case anyone else also looking for same issue, it is due to performance of system only.

The double click action is because of wrong data. If you correct your input data, your script will work fine whether at any speed.

If you want to analyze the issue, then you can use the various options present in UI Control tab before execution of script.
