Eclipse issue with ABAP 7.5

I ‘am trying out cds with odata service (annotations) on ABAP 750 ( with IDES)- When I activate the CDS I can see the view in SE11 but not the service in /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE.

In eclipse I can see small blue icon next to the @AbapCatalog.sqlViewNam but nothing against @OData.publish: true.

How can I fix this.

Hi Ramesh!

Have you added the Service in /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE? On top there is a Button add to create the Icf-Service and so on... . This is because you must configure where the service run.

Thanks for the response - Althou I did that (click on add service and then get services) I could not find the service. Just to clear when I worked with other SAP systems once I activate the service in Eclipse the blue dot will appear before we start /IWFND/MAIN_SERVICE. Something else is the issue.

Try to regenerate your gateway service again after activating the CDS view and then check
