Retrieving deleted program in Sandbox

Hi friends,

If any program got deleted in development system we can retrieve it using versions...But I want to know is there any way to retrieve the programs which are created in Sandbox (other than dev system).

I have created one test program in sandbox and also assigned package and TR...

Now that program got deleted..I again created the same program with same name and now I am trying to retrieve it using version management

But I am unable to find any old versions for that program....

Please help me...

I am a new ABAP developer..

Hi Divi

Development Objects (Programs) are cross client.

Never delete code unless you're 100% sure you don't need it.

If you've transported to another system all ready you could possibly get the code back from there.

Alternatively a system restore, which is a bit excessive as a last resort.

Otherwise I think you'll be re-coding your program.

If you released your TR, even without transporting it, then you may import it.

I didn't get you...

I have not released any TR, It is just a test system where I am trying to retrieve...

Can you please explain me again...?

I think what she meant is..

Even in sandboxes if you're attaching your report under a package, you need to provide a Transport.

If you released that transport, then you can import it in STMS. Quite brilliant actually.

If you didn't release the TR, then your modifications are definitely lost (or restore a full backup of the system!)
