Reduce the Width & Height for Data Matrix Barcode

Hi,

I need to Data Matrix Barcode for small label in Smartform, when I assign it in Smartstyles the default size is 40MM & 20MM and i'm not able to change the size.

How we can change the size for Barcode.?

Hi,

You should be able to control the Datamatrix output size using "Module size" (2001392 - Support for Datamatrix ECC200 Barcode in SAPscript and Smart Forms) when setting up the barcode. The size allocated to the Barcode element in Smartstyle is fixed and (somewhat confusingly) unrelated to the actual output size...

Yes, i reduce the font size in Smart Style Page and assign it to my Barcode text element in smartform and it's worked.

Wierd, I should look at it then sometime (from the experience with PDF417 I was under impression that one can not control anything via the Style attributes)...

Hi Janis,

But when i tried to reduce the size of font in a Paragraph for Styles which i assigned for my Barcode, its worked.

No, sorry - I can't confirm that Or maybe I'm misunderstanding you...

The Module size does affect the size of Datamatrix Barcode:

But neither the Font size of Character Format the Barcode is assigned to in Smartstyle, nor the Font size of Paragraph Format used for Barcode string in Smartform has any impact for me... I tried assigning HELVE Font with sizes 10,0 and 20,0. And the Font size of Character Format within a paragraph would in any case be expected to supersede the Font size assigned to Paragraph Format ...

I think you are right, we should change the Font size which is assigned for Barcode, i have assigned both Paragraph and Font Size are same size.
