MISSING AUTHORIZATION OBJECT for Background job.

Hi ,

I have scheduled a background Job using SM36 and when I check log for the job in SLG1, it says that "MISSING AUTHORIZATION OBJECT (object name ).

How to activate this object ? What will be the solution?.

Good morning Vijay,

If you have an authorization error when you execute the transaction SLG1, you should to execute SU53 transaction to check wich authorization objects or values you need include.

Its very possible that you need to include any value in the authorization object: S_APPL_LOG (inside the role assigned in your user with transaction SLG1.)
