Attachment name same for all Attachments- Late Archiving with Bar code

We have implemented SAP Late Archiving with Bar code. We have documents in external application called FILENET and we are linking it to SAP. However, the attachment title is same for all the attachments. Whatever is the document type description it is taking the same as Document Title. But we want Document Title to be same as File Name in FileNet application. Please can anyone assist us in achieving this requirement.

Is it the right forum for this kind of question? Here it's ABAP. Did you write any custom code? There's probably a forum for archiving. And isn't it a FILENET question? If yes, you should post to the IBM forum

Yes we did write a custom ABAP code to link bar codes in external table to PR records. But it is taking document type description as document title. So all attachment titles are same. So my question is there any input for description, which we can use while linking document?

Could you show us where "the attachment title is same for all the attachments"? Anyway, you must be aware that the way FILENET stores its documents cannot be controlled by SAP (it's why I said "isn't it a FILENET question").

For information (maybe it can help for better understanding that the file name in FILENET is of no importance for SAP), SAP connects to CMS external applications (FILENET in your case) via a SAP protocol, and for every archive sent to the CMS application, this latter returns a storage ID to SAP, that SAP stores along with SAP's own archive ID, so that to be able to refer to it in later accesses to the CMS.
