IF yes, do not show again.

But my issue is if I am not executing PBO then I assume that screen will not be shown to user but if that's the case then how to trigger PAI logic for

which PBO was not triggered.

Is there any way to achieve it.

Please advice.

Thanks and Regards,

Jitendra

Hi Sandra,

I am using EWM transaction for Inbound putaway process, where destination bin assignment screen is appearing repeatedly.

Eg: I have 10 Handling Units

So after pressing enter destination bin assignment screen for next HU appears.

So for assigning destination bin to 10 HUs, screen is coming 10 times.

What I want is screen for destination bin assignment should come only once and whatever desination bin I scan for first HU should be used for all HU internally. ( no screen display)

What I assume is Destination bin assignment screen is called in loop in PPF.

So I want to skip PBO logic to aviod screen display but I want to keep PAI logic to have functionality which executes on pressing enter of destination bin assignment screen.

Is it possible... Please confirm.

Thanks. I don't know that screen so I can just only guess. Technically speaking, you may skip the display by executing SUPPRESS DIALOG during the PBO (I hope there's a user exit to do it). The PAI will still be executed, and the ok code will be the same as if the user pressed Enter on the screen.

I said "executing SUPPRESS DIALOG during the PBO", not in the Exit. The PBO needs to be executed, so that you can execute SUPPRESS DIALOG. SUPPRESS DIALOG does not exit the PBO, it just skips the screen display. I think the only way to exit the PBO itself is to use LEAVE SCREEN but the PAI will then not be executed. SUPPRESS DIALOG must be in the PBO of either a general (full screen) or modal dynpro, i.e. it has no effect if it's in the PBO of a subscreen.

As your issue depends on the logic of the EWM transaction, maybe you could get more people by writing a new post with title "EWM how to avoid destination bin assignment screen repeatedly displayed" or something like that.

No, it's impossible. Anyway, if you want the popup to not be displayed, you must execute SUPPRESS DIALOG in the PBO of the popup, not in one of its subscreens.
