Enhance material master with custom field.

Hi,

the problem is in enhancing material master transactions (MM01, MM02, MM03) with custom field appended to MARC table to be added in General Plant Data / Storage 1 tab.

The step-by-step what I've done.

Append custom field to MARC table.
Create Program for Customized Subscreens in SPRO.
Copy standard screen from SAPLMGD1 to my program.
Delete all fields in this screen and add the one that I want to display.
And this field in flow logic and comment the deleted fields.
In OMT3B add the screen. On the preview in OMT3B my custom field is visible.

My custom field is also assigned to Field Selection Group and set to be display always. The field is also in T130F table.

As I wrote above, the field is displaying on the screen preview in OMT3B but in transaction MM01/MM02/MM03 is not displaying. What can be the reason of that?

Hello Tiru,

Can you please review (and/or share) the configuration you performed in OMT3 and check the following:

1.) 'Maint. Status' value configured correctly for the view (i.e. adding 'E' for Purchasing).

2.) Validate that you have assigned the correct program name and number under 'sub screens'

3.) Ensure that the field was added to the correct spot/tab.

4.) Verify that your Subscreen program and number appear in T133C.

These are just some of the items that I believe would impact the field being displayed or not. Please let me know if this helped or if you are still having issues!

Hi,

Ad. 1, 2, 3.

in OMT3 I'm choosing:

21 Std ind.(short) tab pages ->
21 18 General Plant Data / Storage 1 (main status is set on L) ->

21 18 4 is my existing program and screen.
And it can be displayed on screen preview but it's still not displaying in transactions.

Ad. 4.

In T133C there is entry with my program and subscreen I want to display.
