Parameter ID to select sub screen in t-code POP3

Hi,

I am calling t-code POP3 using CALL TRANSACTION and SKIP FIRST SCREEN in custom program. It takes me to tab 'Components' but i need system to directly go to tab 'Documents' instead of Components.

You could

build a small BDC
Analyze the FM called by initial screen PAI VHUPO_PACK_INSTRUCTION_SHOW (you could replace the call transaction with a call of this FM)
Analyze the logic of the dynpro 610

What did you already try?

I have gone through the FM, but still i could not guess how to get the Document tab.

You have to understand how the initial tab is selected and how you could change this value by analuyzing the code.

Hi Raymond,

I have analysed the code, constant OK_CODE_PACKINSTR_POSITION hold the value TAB3 and hence we cant change the constant value i guess.

Can i try something else?

I guess you'll have to find (or create) a point where you can set the activetab you want.. maybe check if there is a user exit in the PBO of the screen called by the function module?

You need to use some Enhancement in the called transaction (e.g. start of set_status_0610, when dynpronr is yet initial?) you export some value in the caller and import it in your enhancement?
