Hi Shuvendu,

I don't think there is a direct way to do that , for queue , its FIFO.. for your requirement , we need manual intervention to monitor the queues. Also you can define your priority queue to another queue name and when there is no resource , you can de-register other queues .. so when ever resource available , then priority will get processed first , and once that is processed , you can register rest of queues.

Also look for other solutions also.

Hello Guys,

Could you please let me know if there is a way to prioritize qRFC inbound queues (SMQR)?

I am not talking about PI related queues. These are inbound queues to ECC coming from EWM system.

Regards,

Shuvendu

Hi,

What priority you are talking about ? Once the queue generated in EWM will flow to ECC and will be processed against assigned FM in ECC. Now if you need to hold that queue for some time or any logic you need, then you have to extend that corresponding FM.

Thanks Kaushik for responding.

Our scenario is not to hold the queue but to give it more priority than the others.

In a normal scenario, when the queue flows to ECC, it gets processed as per the available resources (Work processes) in a server. But let's say there are lot more queues to be processed and they are all waiting for a free resource. In that case, is there a way to have the FMs processes for one particular queue before rest of them?

Regards,

Shuvendu
