Hi Experts,

actually I have huge number of notes to do the analysis. Instead download notes from SNOTE T-code and doing manual analysis.

is there anyway to find out automation of note analysis.

Example: If we enter note number.it will give the pre-request notes and correction numbers or any manual changes required like this....

I have done analysis in support.sap.com manually.

I already gone through the ANST tool, but it is reverse process based on program and transaction.it will provide the notes.

Please let me know if there is any automation tool or other way to find the automation analysis of note.

Regards,

Kiran

I'm not aware of any such tool, but what is it you are wanting to analyse in advance? SNOTE already handles any dependencies. If you implement a note and there are required dependencies or manual actions, SNOTE tells you about them. What advantage to know in advance?

Furthermore, if you've selected a bunch of notes and decided you need to implement them - well, usually that's a bad idea, and causes far more problems than it solves. Only implement notes that fix a problem you know you have.

Yes. Implement the notes and do the analysis as you go along. It's fairly straightforward to reverse a note after implementation.

If you try and implement the note in SNOTE and it has any dependencies then you will be informed about this (make sure to read what's on the screen and not just click through). If there are manual steps involved then it will not tell you what activities are needed exactly (in such cases usually there is an attachment to the note) but it will point out the fact that the manual step exists.

If you see that information and you decide not to go ahead with the note then you can easily click the cancel button (red cross) and abort the mission. The individual note can also be de-implemented somewhat easily. However, if you go ahead with the implementation of multiple notes and then have to roll back all of them, you might be in for a ride (see this blog).

Normally I read the note I'm interested in, then try SNOTE and if prompted to implement more notes then I go and read them too. Not sure what other "automation" you are expecting...
