qRFC idocs processing

Hi,

Is it possible to send outbound idocs thrpough qRFC instead of tRFC in SAP 4.7 to a external middleware.

Hi Kunal,

Yes, it is possible.

Go to your outbond partner profile (t/code WE20), set the <b>'Queue Processing</b>' flag (outbound option tab) and save it.

Then you can use transaction <b>WEOUTQUEUE</b> to control the IDoc outbound queue. For inbound you can use transaction WEINBQUEUE.

Use transaction SMQ1 (Outbound Queue) or SMQ2 (Inbound Queue) to monitor qRFC.

In my SAP WAS 6.2 i do not get the queue processing option in WE20 . Also the WEOUTQUEUE transaction does not exist .Is there any other way of doing it ?

Hi Kunal,

The above configuration is for SAP 4.7 or ECC 5.0 systems. We don't have SAP WAS 6.2 instance.

We also have SAP 4.7 but i still do not get the option , can you tell me what BASIS component/level you have.

Hi,

SAP BASIS - Release 620 - Level 0047 - Support Package SAPKB62047.

Did you go to transaction WE20 and click on the message type (outbound parameter) and go to outbound option tab?

Hi,

My SAP BASIS release is 620 and level 0048 , but i still do not see the queue processing option in the outbound options tab.

I only have the following tabs :

Reciever Port ,Pack size ,Output Mode ,and Idoc type with Basic type - Extension - View , sytax check and segment release.

I have already gone through the link and posted the query after reading the link.

Hi Kunal,

Are you using transactional RFC as receiver port?

If you are not, then the Queue Processing flag will not display.
