Monitoring Document Number Ranges

I would like to monitor number ranges for different document types, if anyone worked on this please share.

Hi Pavan,

Please see about the NUMBER_GET_NEXT and NUMBER_RANGE_OBJECT_UPDATE function modules. I believe they may be able to help you.

Here's an article about it:

F.M NUMBER_GET_NEXT | SCN

You can also get the next number when you create the object. Therefore you can just monitor it by getting the next number everytime you create a new document type.

If you or your basis guys don't want to use standard solutions (e.g. Number Range Check, Number Range Monitoring, etc.) you could consider attached program of 1452628 - Monitoring number range intervals as a sample.

Hint: try transaction /ISDFPS/GNR_CHECK
