Space is getting truncated while loading from desktop to application server

Hi,

I am uploading a file from local desktop to application server. Input File format is CSV. I am trying to upload using the below command

OPEN DATASET "FileName" FOR OUTPUT IN TEXT MODE ENCODING DEFAULT

Now in the data , values are having space in between but while uploading the data to application server, space is getting vanished. For example if the data is "1234 RED'. Its storing in the application server as "1234RED". No space in between.

Instead of DEFAULT , I have tried with UTF-8 or Non-Unicode but no luck. Also I have tried output in Binary Mode.

hi,

after open dataset just concatenate your work area values to variable seperated by space.

concatenate var1 var2...... to var separated by ' '.

I am reading a csv file here. Some values in the csv file can have space but not all.
