VL01N Header text tab validation using BADI

Hi,

I have a requirement as below.

1. while creation of delivery number (VL01N) I have Text called Truck number in VL01N--> Header --> Text Tab.

I have make the truck number text mandatory for the creation ..

please suggest BADI for the same and also help me how to take the text value on creation mode.

Hi,

You can use Badi : LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC and Method: SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE.

You should read_text function module in SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE method.

Hi Guru,

You will have to read the text from the text memory and check if your text type are filled with values.

Follow the below thread to understand how to get the text before saving.

And you will have to implement the logic in the BADI which Omer has suggested.
