Smartform to PDF - Adobe Reader issue

I have this strange problem: i convert a Smartform to PDF and send it using CL_BCS as a attachement to an email. The strange thing is that in Development system i have no problems - in QA i get an message when i open the PDF from Adobe Reader with "AdobeReader could not open.... either filetype is not supported or file is corrupt".

Smartform is converted to xstring with 'CONVERT_OTF'

xstring is converted to Solix using cl_bcs_convert=>xstring_to_solix

Any ideas of what could be the difference between the two systems?

Yes i´m doing exactly as showned in this thread. And as i said: no problems in Development system. It´s in QA system i get the error?

Sometimes the problem lies in a total different place... Found the problem: the Smartform function module did not create af Smartform at all because of some missing graphics in QA system.

So of course - when no PDF data was empty the Adobe Reader cannot open it - obviously.

Silly me 🙂

Thank you for your answer but:

1. The problem was solved four years ago 🙂

and

2. No screen is involved, so i cannot type anything - this is all done in background in ABAP code....
