Round off decimals while uploading Flat File

Hi ,

In my Excel the Price value is having more decimals like this 54.0225566....so it was asked us to round off to only 2 decimals as like this 54.02.

Since there are 65000 records are in my excel with similar type of values...can any one suggest me how to upload flat file with round of decimals

You can round off the values in the excel itself and then upload it.

Hi,

If you are trying to upload using report (se38) then while declaring the structure make sure that the data element have the decimal space of 2, if so then it will automatically restrict the decimal length.

Try with function module ROUND after reading the data from file.

Try,

Declare the internal table field as type P DECIMALS 2.

DATA lv_value TYPE P DECIMALS 2.
