Hello,

i got a smiple requirement, to edit a long text in my custom-report.

therefore i want to call the msword-editor.

1. Option i tried is to do this via FM EDIT_TEXT.

this opens the ms-word-editor.

The problem is, that via this call, i got no save-Button. as far as i know, this is due to the Customizing in Transaction SE75 (RBKP is set to Background-processing that leads the editor not to let the user save the text manually)

2. Option i tried is to use the class cl_gui_sapscript_editor.

But this does not open the ms-word-editor. this just opens a normal SAP-Editor.

Now my question is how to get the ms-word-editor with save button (for the standard Object RBKP).

are there any FMs /classes that i can use. is there an option to call the msword editor from class cl_gui_sapscript_editor as well?

I searched here in SCN but didnt find any information about this.

regards

Stefan Seeburger
