Error during SD excise condition maintainance

Hi Friends,

i am facing one issue during condition record maintenance for my SD excise condition type “JMOD: N A/R BED” that "Error Message no. VK154 : Tax indicator “A0” has percentage rate 0.000”.

Here my output tax code is “A0” and I am using access sequence “JEXC” and maintaining condition record in key combination “Country/NBM-NCM code” (A362) and we are migrating from TAXINJ to TAXINN taxation procedure (in sandbox client).

Please help.

Can you please let us know the step followed by you for maintaining the records along with the details maintained in V/06 for JMOD (i.e. type of condition/access sequence attached etc); to analyze the issue.

Hello Ravi,

If you are maintaining condition record through VK11 for condition type JMOD, then the value should be in parentage, not in currency. The condition type should be maintained in V/06 as Cond Class:D, Calculation Type:A, Cond Category: As per your business requirement. The Amount/Percent tick should be active.

The condition type JMOD should be listed in procedure TAXINN.

Same value should be maintained in FV11 for the Tax code:A0.

Hi Rahul,

I have gone through your suggestions; but have some doubt.

Will be glad if you help me to understand the same:

1) In TAXINN procedure; whether we are suppose to map the A/R excise conditions or A/R vat conditions type? because i understand that TAXINN procedure will not get called during SD documents (unlike in TAXINJ where taxes/excise conditions are maintained in SD pricing procedure and tax procedures). Even standard TAXINN procedure is not having the "J" condition for A/R in it.

2) In TAXINN; if i directly maintain the rates of condition types JMOD/JIN6 through VK11 (using dummy tax A0); system should consider the same. I have tested in our quality system and observed that it is working. I have not maintained any rates in FV11 for JMOD/JIN6. However, i have created tax code "A0" as output tax code through "FTXP" with all value as "0".
