BAdI for standard Program PRAA

Hi,

In Tcode XK03 , Vendor search I need to map the Search Term2 search field to personal area so search Term2 Field will act as personal area search . For this am looking for BAdI..

while surfing I found one user exit which will able update the address fields "set_address_by_user" but it don't have the table ADRC in the output and input parameters because the search Term2 field is in ADRC table .

so please suggest some way to achieve my requirement. I think if i have a BAdI which is able to update the ADRC table while the PRAA program runs means I can achieve my requirement.

suggest some ideas.....

For transaction PRAA did you check BAdI BADI_EXITS_RPRAPA00?

Thanks for your reply.

That badi don't have the method which will get the input parameter of the search Term2.

if I have a method which will have the parameter for search Term2 then only I can update the ADRC table according to the user search string.

please correct me if I am wrong

AFAIIK PRAA will generate a BDC and prepare the standard structures for BDC (LSMW) e.g. BLFA1, and I fear SORT2 is not available there, look at report RFBIKR00 which will actually create the BDC.

ya you are correct . those table don't have the sort2.

but if you take a look on BAPI "BAPI_ADDRESSORG_CHANGE" this will have the struc of ADRC for BAPIAD1VL.

so am thinking to use this Bapi inside the Badi "BADI_EXITS_RPRAPA00" .

Will this work? suggest me please.

Would only work for change of vendor/employee as the BDC may not yet be executed (actually depends on parameter input on PRAA selection-screen) So you have to delay the execution to insure the vendor is yet created.

Else you could try to append the SORT2 field to BLFA1, fill it in set_values_for_blfa1, and find implicit enhancement points in RFBIKR00 to map it to BDC (e.g. Form D0110_FUELLEN)

Thanks Ray I too done the same thing.

As I said before am using BAPI "BAPI_ADDRESSORG_CHANGE" its not returning any error but the values are not getting update in ADRC.

the return parameter for this BAPI is not giving any error and also it returning correct address number for the Vendor number.
