CL_BCS Method edit truncating receiver email

I'm having issues with using CL_BCS.

I'm using method EDIT to allow the user to view the email before its sent. This allows more than 50 chars to be displayed in the subject.

However, this method does not show the attachments and the receiver email address is being truncated at 35 chars.

I've used method SHORT_MESSAGE
This shows the attachments but truncates the subject and the receiver email address

Could someone help? How do you set up CL_BCS

so that the email can be viewed with attachments, 50+ char subject and a complete receiver email address

Hi,

Please try the method set_message_subject mentioned in the below threads.

Because its a standard screen, mostly chances are their that subject field in the screen cannot enhanced.

I suggest you to convince the user to use subject with 50 Characters(Its Standard) if you about to use the edit function.

If this does not resolve the issue, you can try resolve the same by providing new pop up screen with HTML editor.

use 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1' instead of cl_bcs
