Help needed on creating BPEM cases in customer program.

Hello,

I need some help to understand how to create BPEM cases in a custom report. I have tried searching in SCN but the discussions are inconclusive and I could not find the cookbook in SAP marketplace. Can anybody please help and explain the nuisances of BPEM or direct me to some proper resources on web?

From a custom report you can use BAPI BAPI_EMMA_CASE_CREATE to create BPEM. BPEM creation can also be configured based on error message generate by various programs. During BPEM configuration, a message can be assigned. If this error message gets generated, BPEM will be created through EMMAJP job.

I already created the SLG log and now how to proceed with BPEM, can you please help?

I assume to create BPEM case, you have already configured the business process and case category. To generate BPEM case, you can assign the message class and message number in the case category message tab as displayed in attached screenshot.

Once you have configured the message, you can execute transaction EMMA for the business process. Execute the transaction for preparing jobs which are not yet prepared (select both check box) once and then execute again to create clarification case.
