Hi community,

Is there a possibility to show the object description like SE80 in project explorer of Eclipse?

I believe it would be very helpfull to implement this feature if there is no possibility today.

To show the description at other places would be helpfull, too.

display of description in project explorer is on the Top Prio list of our backlog.

We are already working on it.

Any update. Still not working on recent install of eclipse abap add on against 7.40 NW abap

the feature is developed and will most likely be shipped with the next version of AS ABAP next year.

Hello,

is this feature already available?

I can see an option saying "Display short descripitions of development objects" in my preferences. This option is marked as activ as well, but there are no object descriptions showen, as far as I can see.

I am running Eclipse Neon with the SAP Development Tools against a 7.40 NW abap.
