I believe those fields are referring to the position (left, upper) and dimensions (height, width) of the footer area. If it is being cut off the bottom of the page then moving it higher (upper) may help, though if it's due to the contents of the footer being larger than the footer area you might want to decrease the font used inside.

You can see which font is being used by clicking on the footer in the list you posted above and then clicking on the text elements button. This brings up the contents and the paragraph / character formats that are being used. You can then go back and edit those formats to use a smaller font. Just be careful as paragraph fonts are often used in multiple locations and you end up changing other parts of the form that you didn't intend sometimes.

Hello All,

I have a question on SAP Script. I wanted to modify one of the existing custom developed SAP SCript. The reason for modifying is the Footer is being cut off in one of the printer (not all the printer). I would like to know what's the significance of 2,20 CM in the below highlighted image. Trying to increase the CM's will help?

Basic Settings:

PS: I have seen the other threads for changing the Vertical Shift on SPAD. But I'm little bit hesitant to change it there, the reason being all the other forms are printing perfectly. Problem with this form alone. So don't want to change globally which affects other forms as well.

Appreciate your time and help!

Thank you,

Justin.

Dear Justin,

its actually height of the frame. As you correctly said if you change this in spad it will effect other forms. you can do these things to correct printing.

1. Decrease the size i.e CM of footer window according to the paper size so that it will print correctly in all printers.

2. Please check the printing settings on the hardware printer. i.e. modify top margin on the printer settings.

3. Print by selecting printing properties to fit to size on that particular printer.

I tried to decrease/increase the footer size , but nothing got changed. Still the printer is cutting off exactly the same position as it's before..

Thanks,

Justin.
