You can also develop a report related to invoice printing status using this table.

Lakshminarayanan

P.S.

Message control records (NAST records) must exist for the trading contracts for which you want to print out messages. Print output is selected as the transmission medium and Send with application own transaction is selected as the time.

The NAST records for trading contracts are created automatically. For this, the necessary settings must be maintained in Customizing, and condition records must be created

Reward points if it helps

Regards

Gunjan

Hi Ravi kumar,

NAST is table stores all output types which are triggered from Transaction codes agaist the corresponding object numbers, application, condition types. All those values are automatically stored in NAST and will be avaiable while processing documents. You can check the include RVADTABL.

You can process those messages using RSNAST00 if they flaged for process using schedule program.

Widely you can use NAST table in the print programs of Scripts or Smartforms. Ofcourse, you can use this table in another application for different requirement.

regards,

ram

NAST is the table where all output types and thier processing routines are maintained and updated.

Based on the sy-subrc value in the VOFM routines for Output a NAST record is inserted or not. If it is inserted the RSNAST00 will pick that up and produce IDoc, Print output or whatever medium you maintain.

Every transaction which has an Output control would hit the central output selection program RSNAST00 once you save that transaction. (in update work process, so if you want to debug you have to set update debuggung ON, and go through each update function module until you reach the '%MESSAGES%UPDATE% kind of function).
