convert volume type values from excel into internal table

PFA attached image.

I want the column in excel which is of type volume and weight in internal table as it is..(PFA image)

When i upload the excel with volume type it doesn't consider the comma in the excel and stores without comma in internal table,

I want the format in excel to be same in internal table

For ex. i have 9,999 in excel .. but in internal table it stores as 9999 ... I have this field as string type in internal table (If i give this field as volume, it throws conversion failed error)

Please help me with the solution...
