Issue with BAPI_FIXEDASSET_CHANGE ?

Hi Experts,

I am trying to change the asset master using bapi, BAPI_FIXEDASSET_CHANGE.

And there are some customer fields also in table ANLU. The data is coming from Excel file.

There is a customer field amount(Currency field) also coming from excel file. User dont want to change this field and gave it as a space in excel file. But after execution of BAPI, the amount field is getting effected in asset master (AS02) level with initial value(0.00) of currency field. But amount should not change as this field is coming as space from excel.

Please help me on this with solution.

IF the field for customer "ZZXXXXX"

Check the extension BAPI

I was doing the same only, used extensionin structure for customer fields. as per the excel data there is no data coming for customer fields to change asset master. ..just they are changing the asset description ( TXA50) field. but the amount filed(ZZXXXXX) is getting effected as with CURR data type initial value(0.00) .

Please let me know Any idea regarding this.
