Syntax Error:ZTEST_TABLEL must be a flat structure: View Maintainance

Hello ,

I am getting a syntax error on function group generated by view maintenance .

""ZTEST_TABLE" must be a flat structure. You cannot use internal ta"

"bles, strings, references, or structures as components. -"

I am creating a maintenance view using two tables link via a foreign key relationship. After generating the table maintenance from se54 when I am trying to maintain this view from SM30 , I am getting short dump with above error.

When I run the syntax check for function group generated from maintenance view it is showing error in

*.........table declarations:.................................*

TABLES: ZTEST_TABLE.

Please provide some suggestion this issue.

Hi,

Just check if domains used in data elements of your table ZTEST_TABLE has data type like string. It should be elementary type char.
