Create Customer by XD01

Hi,

I'm trying to create a new customer using the bapi “BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA1”, but I can't find the KTOKD (account group) to input the first field in XD01. I know that the FM CUSTOMER_MAINTAIN_XD01 has, but it is set "Release Date function module" null.

Can I use CUSTOMER_MAINTAIN_XD01?

BAPI document says we need to create a reference customer solely for the purpose of this BAPI with limited data, that can be used to pass account group. User PI_COPYREFERENCE.

Hi Marco,

You can go ahead with BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA1.All the other masterdata details are picked from the refernce number which you are passing in the PI_COPYREFERENCE.

Just go through the FM documentation.

Sorry, I'm creating the first time and won't have any references, I think that this FM “BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA1” wouldn't serve me too.

Could I use the FM CUSTOMER MAINTAIN XD01?

I think CUSTOMER MAINTAIN XD01 cannot be used. It almost seems like calling transaction XD01 in dialog mode.
